Canon NB-4L Batteries? - generic camera batteries spare battery pack
I have a Canon Powershot SD1100, and I get a replacement battery. Canon seems that the battery of the following qualifications has:
Canon NB-4L 760mAh / 3,7 V
If you buy a generic battery, I'm pretty sure that the voltage should remain the same, but if I keep a battery that has a higher mAh, the longer the battery? At higher value than damage my camera?

A higher mAh value not damage your camera but the batteries as indicated below the highest mAh may have a shorter life span. You can also invalidate any warranty with a generic battery.

Digital cameras require lots of energy. Bad electrical contacts can be many problems for the battery and camera contacts must be properly cleaned cause. The batteries can be fully charged, but the unit will show "weak" when the contacts are not really good. The LCD is a low steady load, but as an extension of the lens, optical zoom, focus and flash loads are added in the capture mode, the load is too heavy. Bad contacts make cameras with strange things like a bad film or off with the lens.
CAUTION: Do not overfill! The batteries can be damaged. Use one or two hours more automatic Energizer Compact smart charger with TEMMonitoring of temperature, slow loading technology, safety and timer ($ 9.76) at Walmart. Use 2000mAh Duracell Pre-charged ($ 12.97) or Rayovac ($ 5.97) batteries (both of cargo per year) and a full load. To save battery power, you use the viewfinder.
