Colony Insurance Company Does Home Insurance Cover Ants?

Does home insurance cover ants? - colony insurance company

We had much rain here in the Midwest in recent days, and seems to be a colony of ants have flooded to live near my house. This morning went to the floor, walls and windows in the room with my son. Homeowners insurance covers not because it's weather?

The damage caused by insects, are excluded from the policy.
That is why the ants are excluded (and termites).

You need to call the exterminator.

Many companies put your house pests in a dating service and treat your house every 3 months. Maybe you want to see something. In addition, a termite bond, if it does not.

Not covered. They do not cover fleas, or, or termites, or even move the mouse over the winter.

It is specifically excluded under your policy. Moreover, technically, the ants have no damage. Thus, the costs are yours to destroy. And I want to because the damage is not covered (for carpenter ants), either.

This is a maintenance problem.

I do not know why you have a claim against the policy of his house for the ants?

Most likely the costs will be higher than your deductible ... So we have yet to pay out of pocket for services.

And then your homeowners insurance premium would argue for increasing the claim.

This is only my personal opinion (health insurance, it is my experience, not the owner), but never a claim on homeowners presents little thing. You end up paying too much out of his pocket, including deductible and then pay higher premiums.

Perhaps, but I doubt it. To be sure, go to the website of his company to insurance coverage and details of your plan check. You may have even animously you do not want to ask if you've always wanted to know who asked this question.

Try to go on this website. They can help a little.

We had the same problem here. We recently bought a bottle of terrorists, ants, where hunger for 1 day. And have been for the last 2, but found a few ants. This is as bad as I had seen in 10 years. We use about 1 / 2 of the bottle, but 1 treatment in about 8 places was reduced to 99%. Good Luck

Owners insurance does not eliminate the ants.

Guidelines do not apply to the elimination of insects and their damage. Neither will regulate the removal of pests or their damage.

Call your local exterminator. I've Dodson Brothers Pest Control for termites and carpenter ants.

Probably not. Just use a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. The ants collect the sugar and cinnamon, bring to their queen. Ants can not digest cinnamon and once the queen dies not in a position to digest the cinnamon the colony will die without him.
