Online course - Jewelry Design/Repair? Penn Foster? Ashworth College? - jewelry making course ottawa
I am making in learning, mainly interested in jewelry and metal, and I thought of taking a course for them to get more responsible. I know I could still many things to learn from the basics of free guides and pounds of jewelry, but I really wanted to do an internship, and I thought I would give a more comprehensive training.
I looked around and found online GIA, but not at $ 15,000 for a course, then I found Penn Foster and Ashworth. My sister once a path through the schools of the Allies, so I am familiar with the concept of distance learning, and seemed pleased with them, so I thought I was ready to give a school, such as "seek, but I noticed that many had mixed reviews. It looks like some kind of hit or miss situation, especially depending on the courses that take people to.
Since this is a course that is not transferred, and a real world situation "real" (eg I'm not going to work and say, 'Here are my credentials ";) This is more for my personal gain, I'm not really worried whether I can get a job, I wonder if someone has taken the decision and said they had learned something either the school or if someone offered a better alternative can.
I also plan Steampunk kind jewelry that required the removal of watches and then assemble the parts again, so I was thinking of a course as could be followed by the repair of benefits.
